My Awesome Sister, Texting, and our Little Debate

HI.
I don't even want to look at the date of my last blog because I know it's probably pathetic. I haven't been on this thing in a long time... especially for just having started it when I got to school here at Northwestern. I just want you to know that it is a GORGEOUS day here on campus :) It is 68degrees and SUNNY and I'm laying out on the MAHA lawn enjoying the sun :) Being in a black long-sleeve helps... ABSORB the sun!
Well anyways, to the title of my blog. I will just warn you right here:

This has to do with The Twilight Saga... so it's your choice if you want to read it :) (That's the picture of inside my mind, if you wanted to know...) ANYWAYS!
SO I left my copy of Breaking Dawn at home for my sister Resa to read... but I didn't necessarily tell her I did. So I got this text from her yesterday that sort of got this whole thing going.... I'll tell you that part in a minute. Resa is Team Jacob.... I am Team Edward... THEREFORE we have some differences.... haha but we enjoy it :) I just thought I would share our conversation with you... not really sure why... just kinda fealt like it. haha... I don't really care all that much about Edward vs. Jacob, but it's still fun to discuss.... so here goes...
Resa: DUDE! U left breaking dawn here...so ive been reading it...n BOOM BABY!!!! jacobs BACK! woot!
(Oh yeah... I forgot to mention that She had been left hanging at Jacob wandering through the woods as a wolf for a VERY long time... so yeah.)

Me: Haha ummmm..... I sorta knew that I left it there... I did that FOR YOU! Haha!

Me: Hahahahaha!!!!! Lol yupp... Hes back... What part are you at?

Resa: The Reception

Me: Hahahahaha..... Such a clueless mind u still ahve :) lol u will soon know EVERYTHING! Well.... That is... If u read it fast enough!

Resa: Ha shut it loser! I have 2 hours every day at school :)

Me: Well that would do it :) if u dont have hw :) enjoy! Its a good book :) not my fave but it is an awesome ending to the saga!

Resa: Haha right... :)

We went to bed...
I woke up....
Had just finished breakfast...
and some studying...
headed to do more studying...
OH YES! right here I got a text from my awesome Megan that said: Sari....I love you! Thats it. :)
- That text pretty much made my day.

Resa:  Oh snapp!! He hurt bella...and ehem...do u remember jacobs words? 'i wud never hurt u bella' COME BACK JACOB!! COME BACK!

Me: haha wait who hurt bella when

Resa: Edward on the homeymoon! That little ice cold hearted jerk bruised poor bella... not to mention ruined a few pillows!!

Me: U just wait... haha... And u have to realize. She made him promise. Its not her fault. He was trying not to kill her. He IS a vampire!

Resa: He didn't hafta agree...he cudda just left her for jacob :)

Me: Nope. That would be stupid. He knows jacobs not meant for her so that would be unfair to her. She knew the risks and he cared about her enough to respect her wishes

Resa: Ehem...excuse me? Jacob IS right for her...and jacob respected her enough to no blow up and go all wolf on her when he got mad...

Me: And edward respected her not to go all vampire on her and drink all her blood

Resa: And jacob respected her and didn't kiss her again til she wanted him to

Me: HA! AFTER KISSING HER WHEN HE KNEW SHE HAD A BOYFRIEND!!!

Resa: He was trying to changer her mind so she didnt get KILLED or hurt (ehem...BRUISES) by that pale sparkly blood sucking leach!!

Me: Right... Um... Edward was completely willing to let bella go with jacob if she wanted but jacob thought it necessary to do everything to change her mind no matter how much he has to violate her in doing so... Edward cares about bellas feelings jacob cares about his own

Resa: But edward is like 1000 yrs old so hes had tons of practice learning how to manipulate girls and making them oogle at him

Me: No. Edward is from a time when men actually RESPECTED women. Hes never loved before. Never manipulated a girl. Bella is the only girl hes in the 107 years hes been alive. Now that true love waits, for you there :) which also makes it extremely caring of him to be willing to let her go.

Resa: Hes a retard...and um he rly needs help! He ruined many things...INCLUDING her and jakes beautiful relationship...whatta jerk head

Me: I think ur running out of things to say. Jacob and bellas relationship, by the way, is pathetic and consists of jacob trying to manipulate bella and bella constantly reminding jake that she's with edward. Talk about dysfunctional!

Resa: Wrong again! Bella loves jacob and so she was sooo hurt when he left. When edward got back from leaving, she missed jake n secretly visited him! And when he came back from bein wolfish...she was so happy and didnt wanna leave him. Edward messes with her to think that jakes bad 4 her

Me: Ur the wrong one. Bella loves jacob, but like a best friend. She misses her best friend but edward wants her to be careful because he know jakes intentions since he can read his mind. So yes. Bella loves him. But she also knows she love edward more and at a much deeper level.

Resa: Ok well we both have our sides :) (but mines better)

Me: Aaaannnndddd u dont even have a rebuttle but that urs is "better." just admit u truly like Taylor Lautner and the incorrect way he protrays Jacob. Not the Jacob that Meyer does a way better job of describing in the books

Resa: No I rly do like jacob in the books :) he adds fun to her life!

Me: Haha... Yeah... Like a best friend... An annoying... often inconsiderate friend... Wait... Are you in class?

Resa: Nope

Me: Good :) haha! Just fyi this convo may be my next blog just for the fun of it... hehehe!

Resa: oh no.....pregnant???? Eew..if she wudda married right, she cudda had a gorgeous, tan, ab-full baby! WHAT WAS SHE THINKING?????

Me: Haha! I love you...

Me:  And um... Babies arent born with abs

Resa: They could be! And his wud :) awesome quote: I wanna bakd cookieth on YOUR abth!

Resa: Ha oh man...

Me: No its thtomache... Get it right!

Resa: Fine be that way thari! haha I love that snl... so funny :) shes my fav

Resa: Whats morte in Spanish

Me: Ummmm not rly sure... Why?

Resa: :'( cha cha doesnt work for tmobile anymore!!!! I cost them 2 many fees so they just stopped offering it to tmobile customers...

Me: That why it doesnt woooorrrrkkkk!!!!!! :(

Me: Haha okay so I typed what does morte mean in spanish into google... Cuz it wasnt coming up in the translator and a yahoo question came up of a person saying the same question... Cuz its in Breaking Dawn... Now I know why u wanted to know! In Galaician, Portugues, Itialian, and French it means death. Death in spanish is muerte. :) ur welcome!

Me: Hah sooo... Tons of yahoo question are ppl wonder that bcuz of breaking dawn. One person said that it may be italian. Morte still means dead and bella means beautiful... So beautiful dead... Morte bella

Resa: Haha mhm thats why I was askin

Me: Well there u go then :)

So yeah. that's our lovely twilight conversation! I hop you enjoyed it as much as we did! you may be wondering about the random quote in the middle... about baking cookies? I'll give you a link to it :) FUNNY snl skit that is two girls having an Edward vs. Jacob debate... funny part? The girl that is team Edward is actually played by Taylor Lautner (Jacob in Twilight)! :) haha sooo funny!

Alright well that's that.

I feel like I need to talk about SOMETHING besides Twilight before I go, though...WAY too much Twilight going on in here... alright... ummmm.... let's see.
I'm really enjoying Northwestern. A TON! I have a job, too... I'm working at a kiosk at the mall called AYANO.... we sell Jewelry and it's pretty awesome. yeah. that's going really well and the nice thing is, if it's slow, which it usually is on week nights, I can get some homework done while I'm there :) Which is much needed since I'm taking 18 credits. let's see... oh yeah... my profs are all out to get me :P 2 of them gave me tests today. the other two are giving me tests tuesday. They like scheduling them on the same day... not sure why... I think they think it's funny :) Haha okay, so maybe they don't know.
OH GREAT. Now i'm just talking about schoolwork... this is boring... WELL? I'm gonna go before I make this blog even worse. Enjoy? I guess?

The SONGS running through my head

Over the past few days I've written down the songs that have been stuck in my head. I will warn you, just because they are stuck in my head does not mean they are by any means "good songs!" haha! Soooo... here we go:
I wish I were an Oscar Meyer Weiner
My God Is So Big
Don't Stop Believing-Journey (the glee version is better by the way)
Somethin' Bout Love-David Archuleta
Wannabe-Spice Girls (aka tell me what you want)
Mine-Taylor Swift
It's Raining, It's Pouring-Camp Koinania children's musical
She Will Be Loved-Maroon 5
Everything-Hillsong

hehe I enjoy these lists so I might do one again soon... :P
kind of a really random blog compared to my more serious last blog, but it's all good! :)
In case you want to know, I'm now listening to Glee's version of Don't Stop Believing right NOW! :) That's right, I'm that cool!
Off to do homework so I can have some FUN tomorrow :)

I really like this analogy... theory... whatever you would like to title it as...

Here's a look inside my brain:

What most people see:                                                                            What I'm thinking about:

The clock... and the hands are turning                                                                               The gears...
                                                                                 They are somehow turning

SO.... today my Psych teacher went off on a little tangent... and I really liked what he had to say, so naturally, that is the thing running through my head today. It was a theory about how the laws of nature and the way we say things work may not be laws after all. Now just bear with me (and he's probably way better at explaining this than me). So he used the analogy of the clock... it's starts out the way that the deists use their clock analogy... God made this clock... he made it just how he wanted it to be... he wound it up... but instead of sitting back and watching it do what he made it to do like the deists think, he does all the work... he turns the gears... all of them... the little ones, big ones, and medium sized ones... he makes everything in that clock turn and does every little thing necessary to make it work. He puts each piece of dust on it... Everything that clock does is not done because of some set of laws, but because God does it. He just does it consistently the same way, every time. We can trust God to keep that clock working the way that it does, just as we trust the physical laws of the universe. God may not have just created the laws, but, instead, has just always done things the same way. We were talking about how a baby developes in the mother's body (because this is a life-span Psychology class) and he was explaining how each time, the baby developes this way... these things take place... and this is when they take place... but... what if they don't just do that? What if God is the one doing each of those things, every time... he doesn't just decide what the baby would be like and then let nature do it's work to create what he has planned... he gets in there and does it... divides each cell... forms each part. I mean... we can't fathom how big God is... and there is noone who can say that this is too much for God to handle. God could easily do all of these things, everything relating to science, as well as being intimately and personally a part of our everyday lives. He can do everything that makes this world go round as well be the reason our world goes round.... have a relationship with us... mold us emotionally, physically, mentally, etc. God's amazing. Now, it's very possible God created the laws of nature and has them there to help him do the work as he designs, plans, and works in each of our lives, but couldn't it also be true that God does everything? That he has simply chosen to do these things the same way each time, so as to create order? That's just some food for thought that I figured I'd pass on to you.. because I really like it...  It brings a whole new meaning to "You created my inmost being... You knit me together in my mother's womb" (Psalm 139:13 NIV). Idk. I really just was blown away by this. Now, next time i talk to a deist, I will have something to say.

Figured I'd blog, even though there's not much to blog about :)

soooo.... I really don't know what this blog is going to be about at ALL, but I guess we'll find out, won't we!
I have a lot of homework, so I haven't done very many exciting things lately...
Last night Whitney (one of my roommates and I) got ice cream and then sat down to study... we finally got up for hours later, having only done one subjects' worth of reading each.... that's right, just reading... pretty much insane. I don't think you all really want a picture of books again, so I'm not going to put that up.

I'm not in Orchestra this year....
but there's no way that's keeping me from playing :) I will have to set time aside, because I know my life is super busy, but i'm excited! but yeah i'm not in orchestra because there is no way i could fit it in and still work... it would end up being more stressful than enjoyable... so yeah! That's that... pretty sad thing, had me pretty down for a little bit, but you know what? Life goes on.... and It'll all work out :) I don't need to be in orchestra to play... so practice rooms? HERE I COME!

I'm sorry you people reading this have to put up with the boring aspects of my life... it can't be that enjoyable for you.... but thanks for reading anyways :)
UMMM.... WELL!
The whole orchestra thing was one thing on my mind... other than that? ummm.... yeah... nothing very exciting going on right now... just this new life that I'm living... I never showed any pictures of my dorm, did I? Well... this is the dorm that I live in with two other girls: We have some fun plans of ways to decorate it, too... It's changed a little bit since we took these pics, but this is pretty much what it looks like...

k so.... that's my room :) I spend a bit of time in there...

I guess i didn't take pictures of the kitchen/bathroom/closet... but those aren't that exciting anyways... they are all down that hall... kitchen is on the left... past the wall on the left is the bathroom sink... the bathroom and closet are on the right... in case you really wanted to know :P

k i don't have much more to say!
SOOO... over and out :)

my thoughts are really random today, so bear with me...

What is Sari thinking today?
WELL!
I am taking an Old Testament: History and Literature class... which means, I'm reading through the old testament in one semester... and am being tested on it :) Here's how far I am...
In case you can't see, that's Genesis 12... I have a ways to go... I'm using the  ESV study Bible... which means I have a bunch of random study notes to read too... not all of them, though! That would be impossible! But I'm kind of excited for this class! It's motivation to read my Bible, which makes me really excited, plus the lectures are going to teach me more about what I'm reading :)
Hmmm, what else?
OH! I got some new crayons :) My mommy bought them for me! there are 120 of them...

aren't they pretty?
I colored in my carebear coloring book with them last night... yes, I am a college student :)
I also got a tv in our room now... one of my roomies broke it in today...

not very exciting, i know!
hmmm... fun things to do at college?
 Watch YouTube

               Play Jenga

There's this girl... I share this hat with her... well, i kinda miss her... nope... i really miss her... I miss everyone else, too. alot. But that's okay, I guess... I'll see them all soon :) And then we will party it up!

Like i said, really scattered brain today :) I'll try to have interesting stories next time... just saying...
Okay, bye!

Everything's changing

Well, here's what's running through my head today:
That's right... those are my textbooks... classes start tomorrow. The reason for my blog? Well.... My friend Erica and I moved to college on friday morning, and left many friends behind in our hometown (obviously! haha that's part of going to college) So even though our friends are only like 45 minutes - an hour away, She, our friend Megan, and I have decided to start blogging. It's sort of a way of keeping in touch with eachother (As if facebook, twitter, and texting aren't enough). So this is my blog. My blogs may or may not consist of a picture (or more) of what my mind looks like inside (a picture of the things running through my head) so YEAH! I know what's running through my head right now isn't super exciting, but trust me, I'm sure some really random things will end up on here.

Oh, another thing running through my head???

Yup :) My brother, Jared, got married to Alyse on Saturday :) It was a gorgeous wedding and I'm so excited for them!
So, pretty much everythings changing... but it's definitely good change.
